We are often asked if we offer teeth whitening using “the light.” This is referring to light activation bleaching which uses a light during the in office bleaching process.
We do offer several types of teeth bleaching in our office to give patients the chance to choose the option that is best for them. Our patients use Crest Whitestrips made at a higher percentage of bleach than the ones sold in stores, take home bleaching trays or can have in office bleaching.
We do not use the “light” in our office and Dr. Holleron recently found this article that explains another reason why it might not be the best option.
